This last week we got to surprise the cousins and visit them for a change!
Matt's only brother Mark and his family have lived in Palo Alto the last 2.5 years. We enjoyed seeing where they live and the nearby sights of San Francisco for a few days.
For Thanksgiving dinner we got to eat at the "Top of the Mark" (the hotel pictured above).
It was a buffet (which the kids always enjoy). Jackson and Alex loved having all you can eat Pot Stickers - definitely a first (and probably a last) for a Thanksgiving meal.
The hotel sits at the top of the very tall hills of San Fransisco so the views of the city were incredible. We could see the Bay Bridge on one side, all the way to
the Golden Gate on the other.

After dinner we enjoyed the petting zoo that was set up in the hotel lobby.
Tyson LOVED all the soft fluffy animals.
Afterward we walked around Chinatown......
The boys enjoyed buying TONS of cheap Pokemon cards and Ty Ty found this green "Gorilla" (pictured below).
We of course rode the trolley, visited Fisherman's Warf,
and drove down the crazy Lombard St. too!
We also found this tourist attraction below that not too many people know about!
One of the things on my bucket list was to see the Redwoods - I've been to San Fran many times but never seen the trees. It was a highlight for me!
We had a wonderful time - Good Food, Good Times, Good Company!!!
