A huge milestone has been reached in our home! I can't believe I have a kid this old! The Sunday before Jackson's birthday Matt was called to be a High Councilman. His parents came over that night to ordain him a High Priest so we had a little party for Jackson as well. Jackson got Fifa 15 for the xbox from Grandma and Grandpa. We gave him new snowboarding boots and a pass to ride the Kaysville Ski Bus again this season.
The following Sunday Jackson was ordained and we had both Grandparents come to our church for that and then over to our house afterwards for lunch
(I somehow forgot to take pictures of that!).
Matt was the one that ordained him and said afterwards he had a hard time keeping it together - it was very sweet. We feel blessed to have 2 priesthood holders in our home now.
Just a couple days later he got to go to his first youth activity to see the lights at Temple Square.
This is so surreal to me!!!!
Yesterday we enjoyed his 6th grade singing program. He did a great job and even learned to play hand chimes while reading actual music notes!
Where is the time going?!?!?!
