Andrew is sooooo excited to go to school with Jackson and Alex. He has wanted this for a couple years now! He has Mrs. Hoddenboch for morning Kindergarten and is looking forward to riding the bus and playing on the playground every day! I think he'll have no problems this year since he continues to surprise us with his math skills (the other day on a long car ride he was quietly working out in his head what 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10 was - he got it right!)
Alex will be in 3rd grade this year and has Mrs. Ritchie. He took golf lessons this past week with Jackson and has loved it so much he picked out a golf shirt for school clothes! He also received his birthday present early this year - a new set of golf clubs and golf bag.
This will be Jackson's last year at the elementary school!!!! 6th grade!!!!
He has Mrs. Wright. He also has quite a few friends from our neighborhood in his class. He has recently picked up an interest in soccer so picked out a couple jerseys for his school clothes.
It's crazy to be starting already - but they get their first 3-week break in just 2.5 weeks - so I think we can handle that :)
PS- Yes, the school looks a little deserted - it's not because no one else showed up for school on July 21st, it's because I checked the boys in late so they could attend their final golf class and tournament that morning. Not a bad way to start!
