After coloring Easter eggs each year I always make deviled eggs and egg salad for sandwiches. It's the only time of year I think to make them so it makes it an extra special treat that the boys look forward to!
We went to a neighborhood Easter Egg hunt at the Equestrian Center at the end of our street. The boys loved seeing all the horses (Tyson still calls them all doggies - but he can make a horse sound correctly). This horse was especially friendly with the boys and kept sticking his nose through the fence so they would pet him.
Later we had all the Rose cousins over for dinner and another hunt. It was especially fun to have Grandma and Grandpa Rose come since they had returned just the night before from their mission in South Africa.
Since Easter Tyson has now learned a new word - Candy! He pronounces it Nanny, and is often hysterical as he cries out for "Nanny"!
Easter morning the boys had fun trying to find where the Easter bunny had hidden their baskets. When Matt eventually took Tyson's away and traded it for his breakfast, Tyson broke down in tears. After church we went to Grandma and Grandpa McReynolds and had a nice Easter dinner.
It was a great weekend with beautiful weather and awesome company!
