We all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas this year. Jackson surprised us when he didn't ask Santa for something specific and left it up to him to decide what to bring. We were glad Santa decided on the Light strike laser gun so that Alex would have someone to play with (Alex asked for one from Grandma and Grandpa McReynolds for Christmas). As you can see, Jackson was thrilled.
Alex is modeling his new spy gear watch with "night vision" (oooooh) that Santa brought him.
Andrew has been counting down the days until Santa brought him a Captain America costume - so he wasn't necessarily surprised Christmas morning - just relieved to finally have it! He also loved finding lots of dollar bills stuffed into his stocking.

One great surprise Christmas morning was finding our elf sitting on the couch with a camera and this picture! Our elf caught Santa in the act for us!!!
The other great surprise was finding an extra stocking marked Baby McReynolds, it was filled with diapers, binki's, and other baby items. They boys didn't take too long to figure out I'm pregnant. Baby McReynolds is due to arrive July 20th!
After Grandma and Grandpa Rose visited our house to see all the loot we headed to Grandma and Grandpa McReynolds for more fun!
Andrew got the Helmet and Shield to complete his costume.
Jackson decided he also wanted a captain America shield, but no ordinary shield would do. He want the real deal. This baby is steel, heavy, and large! He loves it. He had to combine his Birthday and Christmas gifts in order to get it from Grandma and Grandpa - he decided on his own that he would forgo opening it on his birthday and wait for Christmas. This year he also surprised us when he said he wanted to get something really nice for dad. I showed Jackson the watch I had picked out for Matt and asked if Jackson wanted to chip in on it. He was very excited to do so and surprised me when he handed over $13 of the $16 in his wallet that he had been saving for a pretty long time. It might have been my favorite part of Christmas this year - seeing Jackson catch the spirit of it all!
Aunt Sue sent this darling hat for Andrew, it's hard to see but it's a lion - I hope he'll wear it as long as it will fit him, it's adorable!
The last few mornings since Christmas, Andrew has asked with a hope filled voice if Santa has come again and there are more presents. No Virginia, Santa Claus doesn't work like that!
