Since Jackson and Alex are such big fans of Harry Potter, Grandpa and Grandma McReynolds decided to surprise the family with a trip to Florida to see Hogwarts at Universal Studios.
I have no idea what the above face is about? Most of the time he was grinning ear to ear and could barely contain his excitement at being here. I almost expected him to break out into a "happy dance" like he used to when he was two years old.
We waited in about a 2 hr. line to get on the ride inside of the castle - thankfully the ride was worth it (I think?)! Jackson has made and owned too many wands to count over the past year however none of that mattered when it came to picking out his own "real" magic wand at Olivander's wand shop on Diagon Alley.
Of course we hit Disney World as well. And for the fourth or fifth year in a row we did the "trick or treat" party there as well. Always fun!

Grandma and Grandpa also decided that since we were already going to be in Florida we might as well do a 3-day disney cruise too. It was awesome! We spent one day in Nassau and one day on Disney's private island "castaway cay" in the Bahamas.

Although my boys know that wands and spells aren't real, they do know that Grandma and Grandpa McReynolds sure seem to be able to make magic happen!
