The kids were off track for a couple weeks in February so we decided to have some fun. We went to Midway for a couple nights and enjoyed having Erin and Kate's families join us for a day. As soon as they left my kids were bored and ready to leave - the condo holds no joy for them if it isn't filled with cousins or grandparents!
Sure nice to be there when everyone else is in School!!!
We also enjoyed going to the temple to do baptisms while everyone else is in school.
Jackson was able to be baptized for 31 names and I did 23.
Since no one was in the baptistry they didn't limit us to 5 :)
We took 21 family names for Jackson to do and just as he was entering the font a temple worker walked in and said that Elder Russell M. Nelson had just dropped of 10 male family names he needed baptized and wondered if Jackson would be willing to do them for him. It was a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity and very neat to share it with Grandma and Grandpa Rose. Jackson is really enjoying helping me every Sunday with Family History and finding names that he can get baptized for. He was so sweet on the way home he asked if after all the work is done, if we get to keep the cards. I said yes and he said that he would like to get a "card collecting" binder to put all the cards in so that he can keep a record of all the names he got baptized for!
I'm really loving Year-round school!
